Put the map in your pocket

Add Graffiti Spot to your home screen — full-screen, opens straight to the live map, and keeps the last walls you saw even when you're offline. Feels like a native app, installs in a tap.

On your phone, open this page and choose “Add to Home Screen” — or in Chrome/Edge, use the install icon in the address bar.

Know the status

Every spot is tagged by its legal status — always shown as a color and a label, never color alone.

Common questions

What is Graffiti Spot?

A map of graffiti and street-art spots, built for writers and the scene. Log the walls you find, follow writers and crews, and see what's legal, tolerated, fresh or hall of fame.

Is it free?

Yes — free to browse and free to contribute, with no ads. You can back the archive if you want, but nothing is behind a paywall.

Do I need an account?

No account is needed to browse the map. Sign in with a magic link (email only) to drop spots, follow writers, save routes and create jams.

How is my privacy protected?

Location metadata (EXIF/GPS) is stripped from the photos we store, we never ask for real names or phone numbers, everyone is just a handle, and doxxing reports auto-hide the content immediately.

What do the wall statuses mean?

Legal is a sanctioned wall, tolerated is a grey-area, fresh is up right now, and hall of fame is a respected spot. Status is community-reported guidance, not legal advice — always check local rules before you paint.

Can I install it as an app?

Yes. Graffiti Spot is a PWA — add it to your home screen for a full-screen, offline-capable map. No app store needed.

Can anyone create a jam?

Yes — any signed-in user can post a sanctioned paint event with the details and a cover image.
